Peanut butter pine cone

Here’s a fun activity that your kids can help you out with (provided that they are not allergic to peanut butter).Â
- Go to the store and buy some birdseed (see below for different varieties and what they attract).
- Take a walk through a wooded area. Find a pinecone – any size will do.
- Take a piece of yarn or string and tie it around the pinecone near the top.
- Spread some peanut butter on the pinecone.
- Roll the pinecone in the birdseed.
- Feel free to lick the peanut butter off of your fingers. J
- Hang the pinecone – preferably where you can enjoy it from your home.
One of the best things about this type of feeder is that it is very environmentally sound.  Â
